Heritage and temples in Nepal
The Kathmandu Valley alone holds seven monument zones inscribed together as one UNESCO World Heritage Site. Add Lumbini, Tansen, Gorkha, Nuwakot, Janakpur and Lo Manthang, and you can read Nepal's history in brick, wood and stone.
Nepal's old towns are not museums. People still worship at the temples, draw water from the stone spouts and hold feasts in the courtyards their guthi trusts have kept for centuries.
We plan heritage days around those living hours: the morning puja, the evening bhajan, the festival chariot. Our guides know which courtyards welcome visitors and which ask for quiet.
