Crafts and makers in Nepal
Bhaktapur's potters, Patan's lost-wax metal casters, Bungamati's woodcarvers, lokta paper makers, Palpa's Dhaka weavers, Chainpur's brass workers and Mithila painters in Janakpur.
Many of Nepal's crafts are still family trades passed down in the same streets. Patan's bronze casting and Bhaktapur's woodcarving supplied temples across the Himalaya.
We arrange studio visits where you can watch and try, and we take no commission on anything you buy.
