Completing the pilgrimage at Nateshwori
Walk from Badimalika to Nateshwori, the temple of the goddess's elder sister in Triveni municipality, which tradition says pilgrims must visit to complete their pilgrimage.

In the local legend, after King Dipraj Chhatyal angered Badimalika, the goddess told him to build a temple in the Nateshwori forest near his palace, where her elder sister, Bhagwati, would be worshipped. Pilgrims were to worship there after visiting Badimalika for their prayers to be fulfilled.
Nateshwori lies in Triveni municipality, a long day's walk from Badimalika, often around ten hours. The route descends from the high pastures through forest and villages, giving a very different view of Bajura from the bare ridges above.
Adding Nateshwori lengthens the trek by one to two days but completes the pilgrimage in the traditional way, and passes through villages that see very few outsiders. Discuss it with your guide when planning; it needs extra supplies and a fit group.
