Pokhara & the Annapurnas in June
The monsoon usually arrives in the second week of June. Pokhara is one of the wettest cities in Nepal and views are rare. Trails south of the range turn muddy and leeches are everywhere; landslides close roads. The exception is Manang, in the rain shadow, which stays drier, though the road up the Marsyangdi is often blocked.
