Barahi Jungle Lodge stands on the banks of the East Rapti at Meghauli, with the national park across the river. Rooms are set in gardens with views toward the forest, and the lodge has a restaurant and bar where guests gather after the evening drive. The village of Meghauli is a short walk away.

The lodge's safari team runs jeep drives into the western grasslands, canoe trips on the Rapti, guided walks with licensed nature guides and visits to Tharu homes and the Narayani confluence. It is a good choice for travellers who want a full programme of activities in a quieter part of Chitwan without going to the very top end of prices.
