November brings the clearest air of the year and fewer visitors. Lower Mustang is excellent for walking between Jomsom, Kagbeni, Lubra and Muktinath, with sharp views of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri. Upper Mustang is cold, and some Lo Manthang lodges close towards the end of the month. Dolpo's passes can get snow and most treks there end by early November. Pack for freezing nights.
